On “Quality Assurance”, RAL-Testing and
Control System is regarded as a far more reliable Standard in EU
countries, and appreciated internationally with the highest evaluation.
Different from ISO 900 that is a Quality Management System and does
not assure any quality level, RAL Standards prescribe the Quality
numerically with absolute values that assure the level.In the German
linen supply industry, the Laundry accomplished the severe level
to qualify the RAL Standards also get “Reliability” and “the Proof
of the Good Quality Linen Supplier”. As basic terms and conditions
of delivery and sale, the Certification of RAL has come to be a
requirement to supply linen to the Hotels higher than three Stars,
Food Companies, Public Facilities, Hospitals and other customers.
History
In 1925 in Berlin, the private
sector and the German government of that time founded “Reichsausschuss
fur Lieferbedingungen”. (“Committee of The German Reich for Terms
and Conditions of Sale”).
Before 60 years, RAL had been the leading system for quality
assurance, and now the label indicates the Quality Reliability
and the Highest Quality.
Today, the recognized competent body for RAL is the “Committee
for Terms of Delivery and Quality Assurance”.
Purpose
RAL is a German Standard founded
by the economic organizations and government agencies in order to
establish the Standard System for all participants in the industries,
neutrally controlling the management on “Quality Assurance”, ”Goods
Label” and “Label Indication” that are necessary terms for trading
products and services

Quality Mark

Laundry certified of the RAL Quality Mark is regularly monitored
by a third party, and regarded as a Quality Model.
The RAL qualification is valid for one year. Only the Laundry qualified
the severe tests (including Washing Cycle Tests 6 to 7 times every
year) and the plant inspections is allowed to indicate the Quality
Mark.
It is important for the Laundry to maintain consistent improvements
in the Quality, Equipments and Production Control to get the succeeding
certification.
